Step inside this stately home and delve into the past with a guided tour into the house's history. Those who'd rather avoid adult definitions and banter can opt for the alternative (and definitely more fun!) tape to listen to on stereo as they stroll around the house.

At the end of your tour take time out in the shop, spend your parents money and buy your souvenirs. After this, if you're feeling outgoing, why not tackle the adventure playground. Climb your way up to enormous slides and swing across the park on a "wheely fast" rope swing.

If you prefer something a little quieter, take a peek at country life and meet the animals at Chatsworth House farm.

At the end of this there's only one thing for it- fOOd!! You can choose from snack kiosks to something a little more a' la posh. Make sure you finish off the day with a walk around the gardens or grounds, depending on what takes your fancy.
